Martin brings a 30-year career in the construction and development of residential and hotel properties to The Harder Group. Previously he was a managing partner of hospitality development company Newsome Hill Ltd. and senior vice president for Investors Realty. Martin’s reputation led LXR Luxury Resorts to call upon him to head the renovation of its historic, multi-million-dollar South Seas Plantation Resort.
Today, Martin continues his passion by renovating homes for himself, his three daughters and their growing families. In 2018, he acquired a quintessential Cape Cod style Colonial Revival designed by architect Royal Barry Wills which he redesigned for his forever home. “I finally got to do for myself what I have done for so many others,” says Martin.
A former athlete, Martin also enjoys playing football and sharing stories with his sons-in-law, two of whom play professional sports. “It’s no surprise his family calls him ‘Chief’,” says Lauren.
